Sr. Salesforce Administrator

What we’re looking for…

ScienceLogic is looking for a senior level Salesforce Administrator who will work out of our Reston, VA office (or remote) and report to the Director, Sales Operations. This position plays an important role on the Sales Operations team and will contribute to the success and expansion of our global business.  You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of Salesforce.com, including all complementary applications, while working closely with the Finance, Marketing, Services, Inside Sales and Field Sales Teams. 

What you’ll be doing…

• Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud and CPQ) and complementary applications.
• Responsible for supporting over 300 Salesforce users across the ScienceLogic global organization.
• Assist in managing Salesforce.com users, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and security controls.
• Create, implement, and manage changes to applications, objects, fields, workflows, processes, flows, validation rules, approval processes, email alerts, objects, advanced formulas, page layouts, record types, and Lightning pages.
• Extensive knowledge with Lightning flows, process builder, skills-based routing, queue-based routing, email-to-case, web-to-case and other advanced Salesforce platform features.
• Experience with data management, transformation, cleaning, and deduplication.
• Evaluating and installing new Salesforce.com releases.
• Respond to user-submitted cases and be able to identify, diagnose and resolve technical problems.
• Consult with internal stakeholders to generate business requirements, interpret business needs, and align to capabilities.
• Author and maintain all related system documentation including requirements, process flows, use cases, and procedures.

Qualities you possess…

• BS/BA degree and 5+ years’ experience with Salesforce.com.  Previous experience with CPQ and other sales systems is highly desirable.
• SFDC Certified Administrator is a requirement in addition to other Salesforce.com Certifications
• Strategic thinker with analytical skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Effective written and verbal skills
• Person capable of working effectively in a team environment and on independent projects.
• Person with high energy, a positive outlook, and comfortable working in a start-up type environment
