Nissan Digital is currently looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join our GRM Inventory to Cash team in Franklin, TN as a Domain Sr. SAP Business Analyst.
Job Functions:
- The scope for this position includes all functional areas within a GRM Procure to Pay business domain.
- The IS Business Analyst is an internal consultancy role responsible for investigating processes, technology, cost, and strategy while identifying options for improving and bridging the needs of the business with the use of Information Systems and Technology.
- The IS Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and documenting the Information Systems needs of clients to help identify problems and propose solutions.
- The IS Business Analyst role is to liaise with the internal business departments and the providers of services to the enterprise, as well as potentially guide/manage other analysts in this capacity.
- The IS Business Analyst will work with a business team to refine requirements and create user stories.
- The IS Business Analyst will create detailed use cases for system and user acceptance testing.
- The IS Business Analyst will define project specifications and work with Solution architects to define and help build Application and Architectural Design.
- The IS Business Analyst will as necessary, perform any other relevant duties to aid in the success of the organization.

- Agile skills to quickly move concepts from requirements to market delivery.
- Familiarity with various programming languages, operating systems, and platforms.
- Management skills to manage projects, resources, risk, and change.
- Communication skills to collaborate and influence Business Users, Programmers, and other IT/IS Teams and Professionals.
- Strong ability to interpret business requirements and translate to technical solutions, while negotiating conflict and building consensus. Especially in Purchasing and Finance areas of business.
- Must be flexible and possess the ability to adapt to changing priorities and a flexible workday. May be required off work schedule to meet deliverables or respond to on-call urgent inquiries.
- Must have good Collaboration & Leadership skills.
- Must have the ability to detail customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders and service providers to establish the deliverables for the service providers, using requirement-gathering techniques (including planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups, etc.)
- The ability to elicit and document functional requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis.
- The ability to translate functional requirements to technical requirements.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Possess the ability to develop test cases and monitor and conduct application testing.
- Work autonomously to set priorities with business users and resolve issues across business functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, leadership, and subject matter experts.
- Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
- Act as a liaison between vendors and the organization they represent. They may be responsible for developing cost analysis, functional analysis, design considerations, and implementation timelines. They may also be responsible for feasibility studies of an application or system before making recommendations to senior management.
Technologies and Competencies Experience:
- Possess technical competencies with some or all of the following technologies:
- SAP technologies and modules; including SAP-ECC, SAP S4/Hana, SAP BW, SAP MM and SAP FI
- Mainframe technologies; including Cobol, CICS, TSO and ISPF
- Knowledge of common Database technologies; including DB2, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.
- Knowledge of Client Server technologies
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies; preferably with AWS experience
- Possess proficiency in the following:
- Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access)
- Project Management methodologies including Agile and SDLC Waterfall
- Hands on experience with Project Management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Clarity, etc.
- Responsible for preparing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for all business initiatives and projects.
- Prepare detailed Business Process flows
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business team, create user stories, define functional and non-functional acceptance criteria.
- Create detailed use cases for system and user acceptance testing
- Possessing knowledge and experience with Cost Accounting and Accounts Receivables (AR) business functions is desirable.
Experience:
- 7 Years overall IS/IT experience with at least:
- 5+ years application development experience.
- 5+ years working with third party vendors experience.
- Prior experience working with offshore personnel is a plus.
Education:
- University Degree in computer science or related discipline.
- Advanced technical degree preferred.
