What You Will Do:
- Support the acquisition of one of our country's most advanced new weapons platforms in this key functional role.
- Perform evaluation and communicate program progress in writing, briefings, and discussions with Program Office and higher management.
- Conduct review of proposals
- Oversee coordination of documentation between functional organizations
- Perform program milestone planning and preparation
- Risk management and process improvement
- Participate in and, at times, lead internal and external meetings
- Use your program management experience to assist with the development and maintenance of all manner of program documentation
- Develop and coordinate responses to taskers in response to internal and external program inquiries
- Integrate elements of contractor and government schedules to account for government dependencies
- Develop and manage strategic scheduling and planning documentation
- Develop and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), to include Schedule Health Assessments (SHA)
- Utilize network software tools and capabilities to assess and report schedule performance (including understanding performance metrics)
What You Will Need:
- An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance
- Bachelors' degree
- A team player attitude with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and ensure the success of the mission.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant DoD acquisition experience
- Experience developing and managing strategic scheduling and planning documentation such as an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Experience developing and analyzing IMSs on ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs using Microsoft Project or other DoD-relevant scheduling tools to include: Open Plan Professional (OPP) or Acumen Fuse
- Experience developing and managing strategic scheduling and planning documentation such as an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Proficiency in developing and analyzing IMSs using Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Acumen Fuse, or other DoD-relevant scheduling tools
- Experience employing network software tools and capabilities to assess and report schedule performance (including understanding performance metrics)
- Understanding of integrating elements of contractor and government schedules to account for government dependencies
- Ability to assess schedule health metrics (ex. DCMA 14 point SHA criteria)
- Experience with earned value management (including integrated baseline reviews) ability to manipulate complex IMSs to determine critical and driving paths to major milestone events.
- Full range of acquisition program management experience in support of procurement, financial management and planning, systems engineering, test, production, security, contracting, and logistics for existing and future programs across the weapon system lifecycle.
- Five (5) years in an acquisition program office on an ACAT I or II DoD program.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI federal security clearance.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET federal security clearance
- FOUR (4) years' experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment within the last FIVE (5) years
