Title: Sr. Scrum Master

Position Overview:
The Sr. Scrum Master will help to oversee the scrum development team and manage timelines, resolve problems and coach team members on Agile methodologies. A buffer between the scrum team and product owner and maintain a safe working environment in helping with conflict resolution. Manage each projects’s scope and timeline and coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups. Coaches team members in agile frameworks and facilitates internal communications. The Sr. Scrum Master will work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests, while resolving conflicts and remove any obstacles that may occur. Ensuring that deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint and guides the development team to higher scrum maturity. Helps to build a productive environment where team members “own” the product and enjoy working on it.
Responsibilities:
- Plans and leads major technology assignments
- Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
- Creates and maintains documentation for implementations
- Removes project impediments that stand in the way of the team productivity and performance
- Helps the development team to create high-value products
- Ensures the development team is working effectively, by conducting regular reviews
- Helps the team to understand and follow goals, scope of work and product domain
- Facilitates scrum events as requested or needed
- Coaches the development team in organizational environments in which Scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood
Requirements:
- Ability to interact and brief customers on a technical and non-technical level
- Experience with Cloud provisioning, DevSecOps, management, and agile development methodology
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Facilitates and guides teams and projects across multi-functional platforms to ensure cohesiveness
Skills/Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge in: Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps tools, DoD Cyber Security and Cloud
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to work on a high performing team
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
