Sr. SDET/ Lead Automation Engineer

Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Sr. SDET/ Lead Automation Engineer who will be responsible for Managing the larger engagements.

Ability to work independently and remotely, with willingness travel for client engagements as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Strong technical skillset with minimum 10 yrs. experience in test automation across the Tech stack - Web/middleware/database• Experienced in UI, Web services and mobile automation• 5 yrs. of A&H general insurance domain expertise • Associate who has expertise in handling AEM migration testing• Strong experience in Agile delivery model, expert knowledge in RALLY• Hands on support for E2E sanity/critical defect fix retests• Perform current state assessments & capability to provide transformation roadmap• Mentor the team, build new solutions• Build and derive test strategy, estimation, reporting and metrics and root cause analysis reports• Apt knowledge on Test Management, Defect Management/Lifecycle, Test Panning & Estimation• Experience in building engineering metrics and building root cause analysis reports• Lead the team, adopt to DevOps culture, build scalable test automation suite with continuous integration/testing for applications• Multi-vendor experience would be helpful to have

Required Skills/Qualifications:
• Minimum 12 yrs. of QA and automation exposure • 5 yrs. of A&H general insurance domain expertise • Java, Jscript and Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Github, Mavens• Hands on experience on test management tools like Rally, ALM and Jira• Ability to lead automation team and drive client solutions and proposals
