Job Summary:

The Senior Search Architect will partner with other developers, architects and technology decision-makers to guide overall direction of the user interface layer of the site and will work closely with Technical Leads, Application Architects, Software Developers and Management in a highly collaborative environment.

The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering to strategic business vision, enterprise level architecture strategies, and developing innovative enterprise IT enablement practices that create business value.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• 3+ years' experience in ElasticCloud, working with Elasticsearch based architecture, design and development including Kibana, Kafka messaging.

• 2+ years' experience in full stack Java development including building API's, RESTful services using Spring.

• 3+ years of experience with various database tools e.g., Hadoop, Oracle, PostgreSQL.

• 3+ years of providing ongoing operational and maintenance support for existing systems and applications developed using Elastic Search and Autonomy

• 3+ years of performing application bug fixes, fixes to reports, correction to business rules, and/or assists with completion of scheduled Enterprise Architecture (EA) and infrastructure or software upgrades as needed using AWS cloud platform.

• Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy new software that utilizes the Elastic cloud search cluster architecture.

• Provide guidance and direction to a software engineering team related to best practices for utilizing Elasticsearch, indexing, re-indexing, and developing with an Elastic backend.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineers, data scientists, analysts, project managers and other engineering groups.

• Provide ongoing support and enhancements for the Elastic Stack in production systems and platforms.

• Troubleshoots complex problems and provide customer support for software systems and application issues.

• Provide ongoing support and enhancements for the Elastic Stack in production systems and platforms.

• AWS cloud developer certification is preferred.

• Analyze functional/non-functional requirements and seek clarifications for better understanding of requirements.

• Define timeline estimates based on the requirements, complexity and in house capability.

• Provide inputs on technical feasibility of requirements.

• Provide feedback on code review and rework.

• Follow coding standards and best practices to check code quality.

• Perform complex integration.

• Secondary : Jenkins, Docker
