About the Role:
CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Security Engineer - Federal Cloud to play a critical role in the operation and expansion of our government services and cloud based infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Implement security requirements for our U.S. federal systems;
• Provision and deprovision access to federal systemsGather audit evidence and explain that evidence to auditors during recurring audits.
• Vulnerability patching and post-vulnerability triage
• Asset enumerations
• Change management and Architecture Reviews

You will work cross-functionally with your peers in the engineering organization as well as peers in the compliance, and sales teams. We are a remote first company so you will bring your excellent verbal and written communication skills to bear when you are working with your engineering teams and cross functional teams across the globe.
What You'll Need:
Required

• Applicable experience in a security role implementing and supporting security systems in heterogeneous cloud environments, preferably Amazon Web Services
• Experience working with Linux and/or other Unix-like variants
• Scripting capabilities using shell, Python, Perl, Ruby, or some other automation system
• IaC Tools such as Ansible, Chef, Terraform
• Protocol knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, applied Cryptography, others
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• U.S. citizenship and ability to perform work on U.S. soil

Preferred

• Experience working with Splunk
• Solid design and problem-solving skills with demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, quality, security and performance
• You're a clear thinker and efficient communicator
• You're a cross-group collaborator with strong interpersonal communication skills

Bonus Points:

• Solid grounding in at least one major compliance framework (FedRAMP, DoD CC-SRG, PCI, ISO 27001), with FedRAMP or DoD CC-SRG preferred
• Technical security certifications or academic background are a plus.
• DoD 8570 Certification (Security+, CISSP) a plus.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position in the U.S. is $105,000 - $195,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
