We are not actively recruiting in Colorado, Rhode Island or Washington.

The Sr. Security Program Operations Manager, reports to and acts as the VP, Security Program Operations adjutant in matters concerning the efficient and effective operations of the Security department. This position will oversee the development, and support of streamlined operations, including reporting on key metrics to provide insights and identify opportunities for improvement and correction.

The Sr. Security Program Operations Manager, reports to and acts as the VP, Security Program Operations adjutant in matters concerning the efficient and effective operations of the Security department. This position will oversee the development, and support of streamlined operations, including reporting on key metrics to provide insights and identify opportunities for improvement and correction.
Essential Functions
- Establishes and contributes to an array of business objectives within the security function. Partners with VP, Security Program Operations to develop and execute strategy for initiatives, tracks and monitors progress.
- Responsible for providing Security Program Operations oversight on team/ portfolio and managing multiple interrelated programs/ projects within the overall security function.
- Establish and implement program and project management methodologies and best practices for alignment with enterprise processes and improved efficiencies and maturity. Proactively works with project teams to mitigate risk and troubleshoot issues. Assesses, prioritizes and facilitates a framework to view a cohesive body of work/ projects that are interdependent of the security function within the organization.
- Develop frameworks for project/program delivery and operational maturity including governance, guides, templates, and tools.
- Develop and document relevant metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness of security programs and services in support of short- and long-term initiatives.
- Creates and facilitates the use of metrics and data visualization tools to report and draw insights on portfolio status and risk levels (programs, controls, etc.). Provides recommendations to supports decision-making at the team or organizational level and improve efficiency.
- Provide support for developing and updating the Security Department's strategic plan.
- Actively engage in the annual budget planning cycle to ensure planning includes appropriate and sufficient activities and resources. Partners with Finance to track and identify opportunities to maximize spend.
- Ensure alignment between the Security Department's strategic plan and its financial plan; between the Department's programs and strategy; and between the IT strategic plan & programs and the Security Department's strategic plan & programs.
- Assist in the management of compliance assessments and other engagements along with the resolution of audit or other findings and issues.
- Own and manage documents related to the resiliency of security operations, including the Business Impact Assessment, the Business Continuity Plan(s), crisis response documents and others.
- Supports the Security Operations teams with reporting progress on specific initiatives to IT and Product Development, including highlighting status and metrics, alignment of resources, and facilitating planning sessions.
- Partners cross functionally to ensure employee education programs are comprehensive in the areas of Security and Risk. Tracks teams' external development
- Support the company's commitment to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree in business, Project Management and/ or Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 8 years direct and/or related experience in program management, data analytics or managing complex projects.
- Strong business acumen with knowledge and understanding or business issues, priorities, goals and strategy is necessary.
- Advanced understanding of intake and planning processes with the ability to inform and recommend best practices and methodology for portfolio management, including budgeting.
- Advanced proficiency with metrics/ data and developing reporting in excel; Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint creating board-level presentations.
- Technical acuity to inform and influence data requirements in the development of dashboards and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall program management frameworks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working as a part of Information Security Teams and/or Information Technology
- Teams/SharePoint Management
- Power BI experience
- JIRA
- KPI/KRI development
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is beneficial.

Physical Requirements
Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
