ABOUT THE POSITION
The Senior Site Content Specialist supports the overall ecommerce content objectives for the Columbia websites in the US and Canada. This person manages the site content calendars and helps oversee execution of the content strategy. The individual will develop in-depth knowledge of how our site content supports real-time consumer demand, achieves brand campaign goals, and delivers on business and product sell-through strategies.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Manage site content calendars, ensuring all details are complete, up-to-date, and communicated to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop content plans to support consumer shopping, product, brand, digital marketing, and ad hoc corporate needs.
- Balance priorities and problem-solves into the best consumer experience possible while supporting the business.
- Write creative briefs and signs off on all content request tickets.
- Lead creative kickoffs, fields any questions, and provides creative review feedback.
- Analyze and reports out on content performance on a weekly basis and ad hoc for special campaigns and projects.
- Develop content goals and test ideas, and proactively drives performance improvements.
- Perform regular content competitive analyses for key product categories, growth areas, site features, and integrated campaigns. Generates ideas for improving engagement, revenue, and repeat visitors.
- Provide second-level testing, quality assurance and signoff for all site content.
YOU ARE
- An excellent communicator able to effectively collaborate and coordinate tasks/projects with key stakeholders across the company.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, with a strong sense of urgency
- An online shopper familiar with best practices in eCommerce experiences
YOU HAVE
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager or other digital content management systems
- Strong analytics skills and experience with website analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics
- Strong experience with behavioral analytics tools
- Strong experience with online marketing strategies and brand management
- Experience in a B2C, Omni-channel Retail environment
- Must be an online shopper familiar with best practices in eCommerce experiences.
- Highly proficient with technical tools and systems and all Microsoft Office applications
