With that said, we are looking for a seasoned Sr. Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team to help us accomplish this critical mission. This position will involve working closely with the brand creative, public relations, and content marketing teams to create, schedule, and publish social content to increase company awareness while promoting Lucid’s Visual Collaboration Suite of products, Lucidchart, Lucidspark, and Lucidscale.
We are looking for someone passionate about B2B social media marketing, who loves to think big, and who is ready to own and execute Lucid’s social strategy across relevant social media channels.
 Responsibilities:
- Manage Lucid’s social media strategy and execution for Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram. Execute the established social media strategy with accuracy, diligence, and creative energy.
- Collaborate with the content and brand creative marketing teams to develop compelling media social campaigns to share across Lucid’s social media channels.
- Work with the content and brand creative teams to create engaging text, image, and video content for organic and paid channels.
- Manage Lucid’s social content calendar and design social posts to sustain community curiosity and create buzz around new product features, partnerships, and programs.
- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
- Be a sharp writer and copy editor for your writing and others if need be.
- Suggest novel social strategies and tactics to drive acquisition and awareness.
- Leverage Lucid’s new and existing content assets to generate compelling social posts.
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with relevant industry influencers.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
- Facilitate/moderate online conversations with social customers, respond to queries, and/or escalate issues to our Customer Support team.Â
- Handle and respond to all comments on social media accounts in a timely, brand-aligned, and professional manner.
- Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members, including PR, content, and brand creative teams.
- Utilize internal and external creative resources to develop and repurpose content, including copywriting, graphic design, photography, videography, and editing.
- Make decisions, problem-solve, and prioritize assignments in a dynamic, ever-changing marketing environment.
- Coordinate with content and brand creative teams to ensure content is ready for final approval, publication, and distribution.
- Track and report social metrics and performance on a regular regularly basis.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant social media marketing experience managing corporate brands across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Solid understanding of social media analytics, metrics, and KPIsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus on communications, advertising, and/or marketing.
- Deep knowledge of the latest social media tactics for organic social channels.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Quick, enthusiastic learner
- Ability to problem-solve, think quickly, and take initiative
- Proactive about asking for and incorporating feedback
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for design
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working with data to determine the success of various pieces of social media content
- Excellent project management, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with marketing, sales, and social tech platforms like Sprout Social, Salesforce, Google Analytics, PostBeyond, and Asana.
- Experience creating social media content (tweets, LinkedIn posts, Instagram stories, etc.) tailored to specific B2B personas and/or audiences.
- Experience with photography and graphic design software (i.e., Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
