Senior Software Developer

Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid only); Nationally (Remote)

Summary:

RF-SMART is currently seeking an experienced software developer (.NET/ C#) with web application design and architecture experience to work with an agile development team located in Jacksonville, FL. This role will be part of an energetic, dynamic team that is working collaboratively to fundamentally improve the RF-SMART applications across the organization. This integral member of our products team will be responsible for the detailed design, documentation, development, unit testing, and maintenance of applications and will be expected to contribute their expertise and knowledge while partnering with other senior members of the team. This team is a hybrid team with both in-office and fully remote, full time team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of an agile development teamconsisting of senior developers, QA, Agile Delivery specialist, and a product owner
  • Participating in agile ceremonies
  • Translating requirements and designing efficient and performant solutions
  • Writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code while making it reusable and extendable
  • Reviewing, consulting on, and approving code written by other developers
  • Coordinating and participating in code reviews
  • Evaluate and report on new frameworks and applicable technologies
  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Educations, Skills, and Experience

  • A great attitude and professional drive to produce high-quality work
  • Minimum of 7+ years of professional full-stack application development experience using C# in a formal work environment
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional full-stack Web application development experience including JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with other developers and key stakeholders to determine the high-level requirements for new web applications
  • Proficient with SOLID object-oriented development
  • Experience with Web APIs (REST/SOAP), etc.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Highly detail oriented with good communication skills
  • An understanding of database design principles and query language
  • Knowledge of the following is a strong plus: Warehouse Manufacturing, Distribution Methodologies, and Workflow Processes in a warehouse environment
  • Experience with AWS is a plus
  • Occasional travel (
