Role: Sr Java Developer

Cognizant is looking for a Sr Java Developer in developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the "team" and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.

Required skills: Java 8/11, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful web Services, Oracle, NoSQL

Key Qualifications: • Understanding the functional requirements and providing estimation. • Involving in all Business functionality and review meetings with customer. • Leading the development team to the functionality always exceeding the expectations by the client. • Involving in the development activities. • Strong in Java8/11, Rest API, Micro Services Spring boot and Spring frameworks etc. • Experience in DevOps and Handling Kubernetes • Experience in Database(oracle) • Experience in AWS and Cloud computing (Preferable)
