As a Sr. SDE for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), you will be an integral team member of The ODP Corporation's innovative Product & Technology organization, contributing greatly to this pivotal transformation in the B2B space.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement and maintain cloud-based n-tier Java-based applications. Use the latest technology that involves integrating with external systems with RESTful APIs in a microservice architecture.
• Contribute to all phases of the SDLC following Agile methodology.
• Write scalable and efficient code using Office Depot tech stack and framework that aligns with our technology and performance standards.
• Support, test and debug any enhancement to the current software to ensure a stable environment and high performance within our Supply Chain systems.
• Maintain up to date technology documentation.
• Participate in code reviews.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

3+ years of work experience as a software development engineer (SDE) with hands-on experience in the following:

• Java coding in a microservices architecture using the Spring Boot framework
• Building RESTful APIs
• Microservice architecture - Docker and Kubernetes
• Public cloud development environments (preferably Azure)
• Experience in design pattern concepts
• UI development experience (Angular or Bootstrap frameworks)
• RDBMS - MS SQL Server
• Automated unit test writing, performance, and integration test writing - jUnit, jMeter/k6, Postman/Newman
• Git source control
• Jenkins CI/CD
• Agile methodology

Other Preferred Experience

• Implementing Supply Chain systems (preferably Warehouse Management systems)

Other Beneficial Experience

• Packages for building IUs, such as Tomcat, Netty, Jetty, JBoss, Nginx, Bootstrap, Node.js, Oauth, JWT, EKS, GKE, or AKS
• Quarkus for integration programming
• Rancher for the deployment of containerized environments
• Kafka for messaging
