Sr. Software Engineer-.NET (Hybrid-Flexible Options)

Broadridge is hiring! We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our stellar team. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while supporting our Investor Communications and Solutions division.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and will need to work in this office 2x a week.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and support of multiple strategic applications for Broadridge products
- Design technical solutions for software development projects
- Delivers high quality software, on-time, following Broadridge SSDLC processes.
- Works within and across teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies.
- Builds and maintains CI/CD pipeline in different environments.
- Updates issue (story, bug, etc.) status and details for assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner
- Ensures technical & security best practices along with Broadridge standards are adhered to on continuous basis.
- Translates business requirements into technical designs.
- Troubleshoots production issues as needed.
- Participates in code reviews and contributes to technical solutions for software development projects.
- Understands dependencies between software and other parts of the processing stack.
- Identifies potential issues while staying focused on identified priorities.
- Collaborates with peers and other technical teams, such as other development teams, Architecture, TSS.
- Guides more junior associates through established processes.
- Works with senior leaders of the development team to architect solutions with technical vision, maintainability and total cost of ownership in mind.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with commercial software architectures at both a software and infrastructure level
- Require hands on coding in the following technologies:
- C#, Microsoft .NET
- HTML 5 and CSS 3
- Front-end Framework such as Bootstrap and AngularJS
- Entity Framework or other ORM tools
- MVC web applications
- Multi-tiered OOAD and design patterns
- SQL Server, database design and efficient integration with web applications
- SOAP and RESTful Services
- Microsoft WebAPI
- Functional skills - Application Development Life Cycle / Waterfall and Agile Development, System Design and Architecture, DevOps / Deployment automation
- Passionate teammate who understands and respects personal & cultural differences
- Ability to work under pressure and be highly adaptable
- Strong written and communications skills for collaboration with various teams and upper management
- Solid analytical skills, especially in area of translating business requirements into technical design - with a continuous focus on aligning technical roadmap with the immediate and long-term Business strategy
- Able to adapt and embrace change and support business strategy and vision.
- Knowledge of software design patterns/architecture like Micro-services, Layered pattern, etc.
- 1-2+ years of experience within a programming and application system environment, with solid experience and a working knowledge in the following technologies:
- Oracle
- Akka.NET
- iText
- Telerik Controls
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or in a related field.
- You will be required to be in a Broadridge office 2x a week
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $125,000 - $140,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
