THE CANDIDATE:
- 5+ years of building, scaling and maintaining software systems in production environments
- Has designed, developed, and maintained high-performance PHP applications and services.
- Enjoys having ownership of critical code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure the reliability and stability of our systems.
- Bias for designing fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Will ensure that Slickdeals users win and win big.
BONUS POINTS:
- Experience working with a cloud technology stack (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes)
- Experience executing system modernization without downtime.
- Experience with database query optimization.
LOCATION: Los Angeles or San Francisco/Bay Area
