Sr. Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated customer facing Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Customer Service support DOD stake holder experience required.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
• Provide specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis and synthesis.
• Design, implement, and integrate software applications and perform software engineering tasks.
• Utilize software engineering and design methodologies appropriate to the development, integration, and production environment.
• Ensure efficient delivery of software engineering capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
• Mitigate risks, control costs, schedule variance, and effectively manage large-scale, integrated software projects.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
• Serve as the technical lead of multiple software development teams.
• Select software development processes in coordination with the customer and system engineering.
• Recommend new technologies and processes for complex software projects.
• Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software.
• Delegate programming and testing responsibilities to one or more teams and monitor their performance.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

• Active DoD SECRET clearance is required for consideration.
• Certifications required: IAT Level II.
• Object-oriented design and programming.
• Database design and implementation with SQL Server 2012/2016/2019.
• Implementation of high availability web-based multi-user systems with Visual Basic / VB.NET, ASP.NET.
• JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Visual Studio, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Access, Visio).

• Preferred Skillsets:

• Telerik controls, Entity Framework, NuGet, LINQ, Junit/Nunit, Jmeter, PKI.
• Autodesk Map Guide, and ITIL Foundations.
• GIT and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
