We are seeking a skilled, highly collaborative, and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Service Engineering team within the Global Technical Service Department in our global medical device company. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating between our Research & Development (R&D) team and the Service teams worldwide.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Collaborate with R&D: Work closely with the R&D team to gain an operational understanding of new product software, software changes, and software tools.
• Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate the transfer of critical software knowledge to the global Service teams. This will involve conducting training sessions, preparing comprehensive documentation, and developing user-friendly resources to ensure seamless service readiness for newly launched products and software updates.
• Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical support for product software issues encountered in the field. As the escalation point for software-related challenges, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure prompt and effective resolutions for our customers.
• Software Scripting: Develop and modify software scripts to support installed products that require customization for optimal network compatibility. Your proficiency in scripting languages will enable you to tailor solutions that enhance product performance and align with specific customer needs.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yr)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience
• Work hours: Salaried/Exempt
• Travel Requirements: up to 20% Domestic and International
