What You'll Do:
As a Traeger Senior Software Engineer you will design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, web, mobile apps or desktop applications products. In this role you will be expected to use current programming language and technologies, write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications. You will also be responsible for completing documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
How You Will Help Us Win:
- Modernize our critical applications, while maintaining their existing functionality.
- Write tests for both new and existing features to help make our systems more predictable.
- Support some of our legacy SSIS, SSRS, and .net applications.
- Help architect and build out an event driven design integrations system using Amazon kinesis stream, lambdas, and dead letter queuing.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- You produce code of exceptional quality, prioritizing factors like readability, maintainability, and performance for both your work and your team's.
- You possess a strong grasp of systems design, enabling you to devise solutions that achieve a variety of engineering and product objectives.
- Through your experience constructing large-scale infrastructure and implementing robust, low-latency distributed systems in production settings, you have developed a skillset suited to tackling complex engineering challenges.

- You excel at communication, both verbally and in writing, and have a keen ability to listen and give everyone a chance to express their ideas.
