Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA to architect and develop Javascript-based applications for gaming consoles, and web/mobile apps.  Requires a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience utilizing logging tools and telemetry data to identify Application TTI bottlenecks and tune performance to minimize interaction time and network traffic. Prior experience must also include three (3) years of collaborating with framework and firmware teams to add or modify functionality that impedes the development of applications by developing error free, unit tested, optimized code that can be re-used across applications and products; evaluating the latest developments in the JavaScript ecosystem and demonstrating proof of concepts and value additions to existing development process; and using JavaScript-based front end web development tools and frameworks such as Angular, KnockoutJS, Backbone, TypeScript, and Highcharts to develop and deliver solutions. At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.Â
