What you can expect

As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing critical general web based and AI-embedded applications for Zoom. You will collaborate closely with teams from AI, Meeting, Phone, Big data, Data Engineering, and Cloud-Native to build business features of Zoom products. The ideal candidate will majorly focus on back-end development and have experience interacting with the front-end.

About the team

The AI application engineering team is dedicated to building cutting-edge products, and providing tools for customers in sales, contact center, training, management and other fields. 

Our products are highly AI embedded with LLM analysis, ASR, and image processing. These products are user-facing, friendly and robust web

based applications. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, implement and ship new features and applications.

• Ensuring software reliability and quality by participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging.

• Implementing AI solutions solves complex problems. Integrate AI services and algorithms into applications.

• Work on backend services and databases, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests.

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and improve product quality.

• Documenting code, algorithms, and technical processes for internal and external reference.

What we are looking for

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, or related field

• Have proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or C++, etc.

• Experience with AI applications, integrations, and prompt engineering.

• Be familiar with cloud services, database management, and web technologies

• Experience of developing and managing high-traffic web applications

• Experience with RDBMS, such as MySQL, NoSQL

• Experience of designing backend APIs, database schemas, and backend microservices to power a sophisticated user-facing product.

• Have knowledge of front end development

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$118,600.00

Maximum:

$259,500.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
