Sr. Software Engineer - C#, Cloud Native Development, NoSQL (MongoDB)
Job Description
Our team is focusing on intelligent and scalable ingestion and extraction of structured and unstructured data through series of analyst driven steps, largescale ETL processes and machine learning.
Join the Idaciti team and contribute to the building of our acquisition, transformation and publishing pipelines consisting of automated and human-assisted tools as well as to the APIs and federation layers that drive FactSet growth through innovation.
FactSet engineers demonstrate ability to criticize code and production for improvement, as well as to receive and apply feedback effectively to develop expertise on our products.
Focus is on creating new software that help increase volume of collected data with consistent quality, stability and adherence to best practices. This will allow the engineer to gain a mastery of the products to which one is contributing and begin to participate in forward design discussions for how to improve based on one's observations of the code, systems and production involved.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software engineering principles.
- Ensuring that deployed products are properly maintained throughout their lifecycle and participating in on-call responsibilities.
- Participate in design and code reviews of multiple projects across teams.
- Should be quick leaner and open to learn new things.
- Manage priorities, execution, and technical prioritization of projects within the team directly working with our POs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years knowledge of C# (or an easily transferable language)
- 1+ years cloud native development experience (GC/Azure/AWS)
Required skills:
- Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Hands on with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)
- Experience with microservice design and infrastructure
Additional / Desired Skills:
- Experience or knowledge of CI/CD concepts and GitHub
- Knowledge of IaC tools and its deployment methodologies
- Experience in automating application deployments
- Working experience with Elasticsearch
- Understanding of XBRL format
Education:
- Bachelor or Engineering degree required.
The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of California, Connecticut and New York is $120,000.00 - $160,000.00.
