What you'll be doing:

You will be working on new product development for the Non-Invasive Ventilation products.

• Generate software requirements, designs, code and V&V protocols.
• Support human factors and usability workstreams to assure that products can be successfully validated and fulfill user needs.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager, R&D management, and other technical team members to assure that project plans are comprehensive and complete.
• Direct and drive the technical aspects of the embedded software used to run the device.
• Develop embedded software in accordance with FDA design controls.
• Prepare and present technical design reviews.
• Direct technician(s) and other assigned personnel to complete builds, testing, documentation on an as-needed basis.
• Plan, execute, and deliver all required Design History File (DHF) artifacts for assigned designs in a timely manner.

What you'll bring:

• BS in Computer Science or related field required with 5 + years of experience or 3+ years of experience with Masters
• Embedded system development experience
• Software development experience with RTOS and/or bare metal
• C/C++ experience is a must
• Software requirements, design and unit tests documentation experience required
• Bluetooth communication and DevOps experience are a plus

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $68,000 to $156,000 plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
