What You’ll Be Doing:- As part of the Growth Engineering team you’ll be leading and building DigitalOcean’s new areas of user growth initiatives for our customer-facing products
- Serve as a mentor and lead for mid-senior frontend engineers by providing direction, guidance and support.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code with a strong emphasis on stability, performance, and simplicity.
- Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of innovative features to enhance the user experience by collaborating closely with the Product and Design teams.
- Demonstrate a deep passion for our customers and the products we develop for them.
- Exhibit strong expertise in building and deploying single-page applications at scale.
- Thrive in fast-paced team environments and have prior experience in such settings.
- Ideally, have an understanding or prior experience in backend or service infrastructure.
- Proven ability to lead teams and guide others in the successful execution of technical projects
- Showcase a proven track record of effectively influencing and collaborating with Backend developers, Product Management, and Design/UX teams.
- Demonstrate repeated successful experiences with various modern frontend technologies such as React, Ember, Typescript or GraphQL.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of delivering reliable, testable, and highly available software.
