Broadridge is hiring! Our team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer familiar in both Java and Angular development having experience with web applications with mobile app development a plus. This is a superb opportunity for applicants that are proficient in Java full stack development, Oracle, Angular, APIs, and mobile app development/deployment. You will work within an Agile setting to grow and transform our applications related to our core proxy voting applications within our Investor Communications Solutions division (ICS) .

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily coding in Java, Java EE, HTML, Angular using frameworks such as Spring and Apache Cordova.
• You will also be involved in Oracle PL/SQL development as well as the integration with other internal groups via APIs.
• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot code for existing and/or new applications.
• Be a technology advocate, seeking opportunities where technology can be utilized to solve business problems.
• Involvement in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering, solutioning, implementation, testing, deploying, supporting.
• Work closely with the product/business organization to review product roadmaps, analyze requirements, provide estimates, ensure business benefit, and support the business process.
• Collaborate within an Agile team working closely with the product owner, QA, and peer developers.
• Perform unit and system testing of applications/solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience
• 6+ years of experience within a programming and applications system environment, which includes the following:
• Experienced in Java/Java EE, Spring, SQL, PL/SQL, API design, JSP, JavaScript, HTML
• Knowledge with mobile app development using Apache Cordova and experience with app store deployments is desired
• AWS knowledge is a plus: S3, API Gateway, ECS, Lambda, Glue, Aurora, Elastic Search
• Full SDLC development methodologies including SCRUM/Agile and Waterfall
