About the Role:

In this exciting opportunity, you will be working closely with the product team to deliver cutting edge tech solutions. Our Insights platform allows clients to not only view captured data, but get a full analysis of the health of their assets. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise building scalable, user-friendly web applications using React and TypeScript. You must have a proven track record of success and excel in a fast-growing, technology-based startup culture while working autonomously.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our product and design teams to build new features quickly and sustainably.
• Analyze and optimize UI and application code for efficiency and performance.
• Provide end-to-end support for our existing web applications.
• Contribute to shaping the product with research and ideas.
• Ensure our Infrastructure is running smoothly through monitoring and maintenance.
• Integrate with various third party tools and client systems.
• Able to act as a technical leader within the team, guiding architectural decisions and best practices.
• Able to provide guidance and mentorship to lower level engineers to foster a culture of learning and growth.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development. Expertise in React library is highly desired.
• Proficient coding in Javascript and Typescript.
• A plus: Experience with Java/Spring.
• Skilled in working with unit and/or integration testing.
• Experience of efficiently collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Well-versed with scrum or other agile product development methodologies.
• Self-starter, multi-tasker, effective communicator, and motivator that brings out the best in people.
• Proven track record of delivering robust, on-time, quality solutions within project constraints.
• Driven to succeed: You go above and beyond. You make educated, logical decisions but also know there’s a time for trusting your intuition, vision, and heart.
• High level of interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence with the ability to work independently and as a team player while presenting a professional demeanor.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experienced with Java/Spring and REST APIs
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for front-end applications
• Experience working with geospatial data
• Deck.GL (web based geospatial visualization library)
• Kubernetes/Docker
• Computer Vision (i.e. OpenCV, Structure from Motion)
