What We Need:

Brady Corporation is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead technical direction and implementation of our integration platforms. Our team is involved in delivering a variety of interesting and challenging projects in the domains of e-commerce, data and analytics, ERP, manufacturing automation, and process and workflow enablement. These projects require well-designed APIs and integrations to be successful.The position requires demonstrated experience designing and implementing various integration technologies and patterns including REST, SOAP, API management and event-driven architectures. Experience with real-time integrations and data transformations is desired. The ideal candidate will be analytical, creative, and a business-focused problem solver who enjoys working with business and engineering teams to build integrations that meet and exceed customer and business needs.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Partner with business and technical leaders to identify future integration needs and develop technology strategies to enable them
• Provide technical leadership to integration engineering staff
• Implement architectural and technical platform changes that enhance our integration capabilities
• Partner with business and technology teams to ensure consistent and optimized implementations
• Promote and follow agile processes throughout the technology delivery lifecycle
• Research and recommend emerging technologies to drive innovation and automation
• Research and evaluate vendors and manage relationships

What You'll Need To Be Successful:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field.
• 2-3+ years of experience as a lead engineer, solutions architect, or another related role
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing integration technologies and patterns with one or more of the following: REST, SOAP, and API management.
• Professional programming experience in .NET

Desired Knowledge, Skills Abilities:

• Experience with Dell Boomi
• Experience with other integration platforms such as Informatica and Qlik Replicate
• Experience with ERP integrations, SAP preferred
• Experience with Azure cloud platform services - PaaS and data
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Ability to clearly convey concepts / solutions to the business in non-technical terms
• Ability to handle and manage multiple priorities at the same time
