Base Pay Range: $139,300.00 - $236,800.00 Annually

Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

• The individual will have solid background in network architecture and security frameworks
• Strong working knowledge in Linux (Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator, RHCSA or equivalents)
• Solid background in one of the following fields: Hypervisor/virtual machine/container/docker/VMWare and compilers
• Managing data storage and backup systems
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming language
• Experience in software development cycle is desired
• Create and maintain Engineering Servers and Test Benches, develop kickstart for automated installers, backup and recover critical data when necessary
• Working with vendors to specify computers and network devices
• Research innovative automated approaches for system administration
• Documenting network configuration and procedures for Engineering and Production Customer tools

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on network security, machine control, and network topology design.
• Experience with network protocols, security frameworks, and standard processes.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
