Sr. Software Engineer – PMS Team
What You Will Do
As a Sr. Software Engineer on our Portfolio Management System (PMS) team, you will be responsible for building and enhancing a real time portfolio management system that provides IBOR and ABOR data for investors, and the platform that provides functional integration with other Enfusion products, especially in:
- Modeling of over 20+ different types of asset classes, including in house calculations of portfolio, cashflow, P&L, and accounting data. Theoretical valuation models for OTC and the related trade capturing support. The processing tools used by portfolio managers and traders to construct and operate a portfolio.
- The in-house infrastructure that provides real-time updates for trade capture, pricing, and market data changes.
- The core database and message layer infrastructure that provides low-latency performance of the platform.
To be successful, you will need to develop an understanding of existing code architecture and be able to expand on it. You will use skills like concurrent programming, various types of caching, reactive programming, and classic OOP concepts, to name a few.
The main frameworks and libraries you will interact with are Hibernate, Spring, ActiveMQ Artemis, Java, and Swing.
Skills Needed
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience working in a Java environment
- Knowledge of OOP, Design Patterns, and best practices.
- Experience With any of the following:
- Spring/SpringBoot
- Apache Ignite
- Activemq/Artemis/JMS
- ReactiveX
- ORM/JPA
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Â
- Self-starter comfortable in fast paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, DevOps, and relational databases.
- In depth understanding of concurrent programming and design. Â
- Produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent, and well-performing.
- Design, plan and deliver solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment. Author architecture documents.
The salary range for this position is between $160,000 - $200,000 + bonus + benefits.
