Job Summary
The Sr. Salesforce Administrator position will be responsible for administering and developing F&G’s existing Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud applications, and for supporting the buildout of additional Salesforce products and integrations as part of F&G’s long term growth and customer engagement strategies.Â
This position will be primarily responsible for day to day administration, troubleshooting, training and support for our Salesforce applications, and will regularly be coding, testing, deploying and documenting enhancements of varying sizes and complexity to support key business objectives and provide for continual improvement of the applications. This role will also perform application security remediation and impact analysis as needed.Â
As a part of our expanding Salesforce team, it is critical that this resource is able to independently solve problems and address technical issues, and also collaborate effectively with both technical team members and business teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
 Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform impact analysis for interface/system changes affecting the applications environment
- Work closely with business teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Collaborate with team members and business partners to solve problems and fix technical issues
- Independently develops estimates for project and maintenance work
- Design and develop code to support existing and future deployments
- Design and execute technical aspects of function
- Collaborate directly with teammates and business partners to build technical solutions that solve problems and are reusable, scalable, fast, and maintainable
- Independently solve problems and fix technical issues
 Experience & Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferred emphasis in Computer Science or MIS) or equivalent combination of education and experienceÂ
- 4-7 years of hands-on technical experience in designing and building applications and interfaces
- 4-7 years of Salesforce Administrator experience
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Preferred Requirements
- Advanced Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Experience within a Financial Services/Insurer’s IT Organization
- Life Insurance/Annuities experience
- 1+ years Agile, JIRA
