Sr. Software Test Engineer

Position Description

Design and develop software verification plans, protocols, and reports for the company’s medical device products. Detect and analyze defects. Conduct reviews of product design to ensure that requirements are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable. Define software test methods, best practices, and create test plans for new or updated software projects to ensure that software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions. Analyze software test results to assure quality of existing and new functionalities. Partner with Product Development Team to evaluate interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements for software systems. Provide technical feedback to engineers, including recommendations for design improvements and corrections throughout the software development process. Provide technical feedback during the continuous development of the Quality Assurance Team’s standard practices and procedures. Automate functional tests and smoke tests for the company’s medical device products. Automate process of validating API’s used for the company’s medical device products. Lead end to end testing activities for incremental medical device product releases. Train Customer Service Team on handling software related customer queries. Help resolve software related issues reported from the field (FSE). Drive weekly CCB meetings to remain compliant with quality standards. Track and monitor KPI metrics for the software team.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related position.

Skills Required

• 2 years of experience leading software release cycles and developing software test protocols.
• 2 years of experience with relational databases.
• 2 years of experience with Cloud Computing Services, including Amazon AWS.
• 3 years of experience with software test automation of web applications.
• 3 years of experience with REST API services using Selenium and Enterprise Java Programming.
• 2 years of experience with the verification, validation, integration, and functional testing of digital health products.
• 3 years of experience with Linux and Unix OS.
• 3 years of experience with software testing life cycle and Agile testing practices.
• 3 years of experience with all phases of testing, including defining requirements, analysis, design, testing, validation, documenting, deploying, support, and maintenance.
• 2 years of experience deploying and executing automated test cases in CI/CD pipelines.
