Sr. Software Verification Lead

Sr. Software Verification Lead (Smith & Nephew, Inc., Pittsburgh, PA): Perform functional, system, integration, performance and reliability and regression testing on CORI and Digital Projects. Review and analyze the design/functional requirements, develop, and execute protocols, identify issues and assist development teams in fixing the issues at the early stage and the document of Verification and Validation reports. Utilize learnings from past distributions and allied domains to increase value in Smith & Nephew activities and decisions. Lead the improvement of processes and procedures covering testing aspects of the engagements involving all stakeholders both onsite and offsite groups.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field plus 8 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related role in the medical device industry.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in any of the following: New Product Development ("NPD"), Bone cutting, or Enterprise Architect & Depth measurement's using advanced tools.

Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in the following:

• Requirements Management tools such as: Doors, Cockpit, ALM, or equivalent requirements management system;
• Test Management tools such as ALM, Cockpit, Enterprise Architect, or Zephier;
• Perform Risk assessments per ISO 14971;
• Develop design and development plan and design verification plan per ISO 13485.
• Software Hazard analysis, code review and technical guidance.
• Software design, development, unit testing and integration testing activities.
• Whitebox & Black box testing, test plan preparation, test script generation, code coverage analysis, test execution and peer review.
• Defect analysis, defect tracking, regression testing, test reports generation and test closer activities.
• Define Path for Automation Test Platform.
• System and subsystem test case development and test execution.
• Design and review of high-level and low-level design of various modules.
• SMART Requirement Analysis.
• Software Development Life Cycle("SDLC").
• STLC process application and implementation.
• System Level Medical Device testing.

Must be able and willing to travel (domestic and international) up to 10% of the time.
