Sr. Software/Team Lead Engineer - Typescript, JavaScript, Python, Vue (EST Based)

The newly created Deep Sector and Private Markets Engineering team in the Dealmakers & Wealth Management group is seeking a talented Sr. Software/Team Lead Engineer to lead a team of engineers in the United States. As a Sr. Software/Team Lead Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of FactSet's new Screening capabilities as well as the overall Deep Sector effort by fostering the growth and development of your team. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership across the program areas. This position reports directly to the Director, Deep Sector and Private Markets Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Take a genuine interest in the professional and personal growth of each team member.

• Champion technical excellence across the engineering organization
• Foster strong partnerships with Engineering, Product Management, and other stakeholders

• Advocate for the continuous improvement of processes and practices

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of relevant technical or software engineering experience

Critical Skills:

• Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team of 5-6 engineers.
• Proven track record of building successful partnerships with various stakeholders.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue, Python, SQL

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of the financial services ecosystem is preferred (AI, Cloud Computing).

Education:

• BA/BS degree in STEM field

The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of California, Connecticut and New York is $105,000.00 - $142,000.00.
