Job Description

We are currently seeking a Sr. Solution Enablement Manager within our B2B IT/Information Display Technical Sales organizationContributes directly to the sales efforts of IT/ID solutions and services, by utilizing their strong technical knowledge, solution development, project management, creative design/rendering (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit), business development, leadership, sales skills. Will play a key role by leading the Solution Design Services program, and contributing to the creation and implementation of strategies around Solution Sales Enablement and Professional Services. This is a field/home office based role and will consider applicants who live in close proximity of a major airport (preference for central time zone, such as Texas or Illinois).

Responsibilities include;

  • Leading LG Solution Design Services practice, including; setting policy, implementing processes, managing vendor relationships, selecting and managing software platforms, guiding/fostering design resources, and conducting design/rendering work
  • Working across matrixed organization to assess customer needs, engineer/formulate solutions, manage complex/custom projects, present solutions & value propositions, and drive/manage projects from the design and spec-in phase through implementation.
  • Managing assigned solution projects from ideation and deliver timely results
  • Collaborate with LG sales & other division members to enable solution creation and sales efforts
  • Leverage Solution Ecosystem for third-party solution ideas/creation
  • Manage relationships (technical and non-technical) with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders
  • Work closely with Director, Technical Sales for guidance and strategy
  • Work closely with other members and leaders of the Technical Sales organization, and cross-functional teams
  • Play key role in optimizing and utilizing Salesforce, Smartsheet & other tools to log, track, & report on projects/activities (including creating templates, processes, dashboards, policies, workflows, etc)
  • Contribute to formation of new revenue generating LG Professional Services offerings (may involve additional vendor selection/management)
  • Review, organize, and/or create project documentation
  • Accompany other LG representatives at customer locations/meetings as needed
  • Visit clients to conduct project site visits, assess needs, & present solutions
  • Participate and/or lead the RFI/RFP response process (i.e. design, submission and review)
  • Monitor and capture market intelligence/trends (Voice of Customer-VoC) and share internally
  • Lead/participate in product, market, & solution planning sessions as needed
  • Lead special task teams and/or projects as needed
  • Perform Professional Services as needed (e.g. consultative design, site reviews, etc)
  • Travel as needed. Domestic (up to 50%). International (occasionally).

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree (technical subject preferred) or relevant work experience, minimum 10 years of technical solution engineering experience (Information Display industry preferred)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in solution design in a B2B technology industry
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Strong understanding of project and solution specifications, and the construction process
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and the following design software platforms (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUP, and Vizio). Other web/design software skills a plus.
  • CTS certification preferred. Other technology certifications a plus.
  • Ability to travel 50% throughout the U.S (occasional international)
  • Fluent in English.
