About the Position
WellSky is looking to hire a Senior Solutions Manager, Payer and Network Solutions. The mission of the Senior Solutions Manager is to successfully build, manage, and grow WellSky’s Payer and Network solution portfolio and supporting features, to support the growth in Payer network partners; Payer revenue; and interoperable care coordinated through the WellSky network. The Senior Solutions Manager will sit at the “tip of the spear” of these opportunities for WellSky. This position will expand as the Payer and Network Solutions businesses, considered WellSky’s most strategic opportunity, continues to grow and expand.
The role of the Senior Solutions Manager is to be responsible for defining solution strategy and go-to-market plans for WellSky solutions. Deep domain expertise in solution management methodologies and Agile development should be combined with the ability to quickly refine plans to meet a rapidly evolving market. We are seeking someone who can operate at senior manager level, formalizing the solution management function/processes, etc. but who is also sufficiently hands-on to work successfully with limited resources/team.

The all-encompassing, focused goal of the Senior Solutions Manager is to ensure an unmitigated, massive success of the WellSky Payer and Network solutions and services offering to which they are assigned. However, this position may / will also have a view toward broader solution management of similar solutions as they come online.
A day in the life!
You will be responsible for the following:
- Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance and results of solutions
- Manage all bodies of work to be delivered on time and within budget
- Develop overall solution strategy for the assigned portfolio, manage all aspects of solution development and oversee assigned solution team members
- Develop and drive the roadmap, including relentless prioritization of capabilities that archieves maximum value for WellSky and its clients
- Lead solution analysts and engineering teams to deliver amazing features from your detailed requirements and prototypes
- Lead the solution team in conducting focus groups, market research, and beta programs to elicit client feedback and drive high adoption of new features
- Partner with Sales and Development to ensure solution alignment with prospective clients’ needs.
- Conduct extensive research—including interacting with current and prospective clients on a regular basis—to inform solution development and iterations
- Identify market opportunities, build and prioritize business cases, and see all solution initiatives through to completion
- Manage relationships with executive sponsors and key client team members at all required levels
- Look around corners to predict client needs, head off issues, and proactively implement plans
- Manage cross-functionally internally across WellSky to ensure we exceed expectations of the strategic solutions you will own
The Senior Solutions Manager reports to the Senior Solutions Director for Payer and Network Solutions.
Do you have what it takes?
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare information technology, or related industries with exposure to complex market ecosystems with integrated multi-party platforms (e.g., financial services, social networks, online marketplaces)
- 4+ years of enterprise software solution management experience; at least 2 years in a managerial/ leadership role
- Demonstrated understanding of network business models, technology solutions and workflow management systems
- Demonstrated understanding and experience creating integrated technology platforms leveraging modern technical architecture design and infrastructure
- Experience managing SaaS solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment is required.
- Experience with systems development life cycles (SDLCs.)
- Experience in marketing research and solution development
- A combination of large and early-stage company experience is preferred

Preferred Experience:
- MBA
- Extensive payer, network and software/solution development experience
- Exposure to value-based healthcare constructs
- Professional services experience preferred (ex. consulting, investment banking, private equity)
- Healthcare technology industry experience FHIR, HL7, claims processing / EDI, HIPAA compliance, etc.
