This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Job Summary

The Senior Analyst Sales & Operations Planning is responsible for developing the necessary inventory plans and supply requests to meet availability goals of Vehicles, Parts & Accessories (Parts & Accessories), or General Merchandise (General Merchandise) for a defined geography over the operational timeline associated with that product line (12-24 months). Through effective collaboration with the demand teams, the product supply teams, and logistics this role is responsible for ensuring the appropriate product or production is available globally where it will be needed to meet demand objectives. This role is responsible for coordinating on the equitable allocation of scarce product, efficiently managing the excess and obsolete product, and achieving inventory utilization and optimization goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the SKU level supply and inventory plan for the assigned product, geography, and distribution centers for the operational timeline and keep it updated with changing demand and supply conditions
  • Manage inventory optimization systems to ensure appropriate response to demand volatility and the optimized balance between availability and asset utilization
  • Responsible for monitoring and improving key performance indicators (Key Performance Indicators) to goals against availability, turns, backorders, and excess and obsolete product.
  • Participate in allocation of scarce product and the effective management of excess and obsolete product
  • Effectively work with supply teams to respond to changes in demand and supply disruptions and make efficient expedite, cancel, and write-off recommendations in addition to optimizing minimum order quantity and lead time parameters
  • Participate and make recommendations on strategic initiatives in the supply chain to optimize global product flow
  • Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning process balancing demand and supply plans with risk, opportunity, efficient production or supply, and inventory optimization
  • Utilize effective communication to describe assumptions, factors, and key inputs into the supply and inventory decision making process

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Aptitude for rapid learning of forecasting, Sales & Operations Planning, inventory management or financial planning
  • Statistical forecasting and complex data set analytics experience preferred
  • Global business acumen or experience
  • Demonstrate a level of communication and interpersonal skills that enables effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced skills in the current office applications primarily Excel with Access or similar database preferred

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
