Job Description

What We're Looking For:
The Sr. Sourcing Associate will help execute 2U's strategic purchasing efforts and develop KPI metric reporting within the procure-to-pay department. The role will assist internal stakeholders determine their requirements and negotiate vendor agreements up to $100,000. The Sourcing Associate will interact with all levels of business management, legal team, procurement, and 3rd party vendors. Key to the role is the ability to help 2U obtain the pricing and contract terms that are favorable to the company, use excel or other data analysis tools to track KPIs, and be able to quickly learn key business enterprise technology systems. The Sr. Sourcing Associate will be evaluated based on the individual's ability to support internal customers, build and maintain key sourcing reports, obtain desired vendor services, generate cost savings, protect the company's capital, and ensure efficient and timely purchasing.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

 

  • Support and maintain the development of procure-to-pay KPIs and spend analysis reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, and maintain spend analysis data.

 

  • Manage contract lifecycle including drafting, negotiating, finalizing, and executing vendor agreements up to $100,000.
  • Seeks cost savings opportunities including assisting punch out catalog purchases, assessing product utilization, and supporting cost reduction initiatives.
  • Enforce 2U purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Identifies change management opportunities and develops recommendations.
  • Play a key role in special procure-to-pay projects such as system updates, user testing, and ensuring the accuracy of supplier data within the 2U Coupa system.


Things That Should Be In Your Background:

 

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or other related finance functions
  • A sourcing or purchasing background within a tech firm preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple project demands and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint or other interactive data visualizations software
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or related field

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is$74,000.00 with potential bonus and equity eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate's assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
