Job Description

The Sr. Specialist, Customer Insights use data to discover insights about the customer experience at our events. This individual will help to impact changes and improvement in Gartner's world class events.

What you will do:

  • Assist in the development, management, and execution of specific research projects.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet the needs and standards of executive-level stakeholders.
  • Play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting data to provide valuable insights to drive business decisions and strategies.
  • Manage communications with external executive-level professionals.
  • Aid in the synthesis and translation of feedback into actionable insights and innovative recommendations.
  • Enhance existing reports and dashboards to ensure they are documented and well organized.
  • Work closely with data analysts, market researchers, and other team members to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple business roles.

What you will need:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree with a focus in market research, business, statistics, psychology, or similar social science
  • 2-4 years of primary research experience in qualitative and quantitative research with exposure to research methodologies, survey design, and data collection techniques.
  • Proven experience in customer insights analysis, market research, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with the tasks associated with the planning and execution of one-on-one interviews and focus groups would be helpful.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Suite capabilities a must.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Should be detail-oriented and able to operate independently on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exposure to the B2B research preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for multiple days at least 3-4x per year.
