Sr. Staff Accountant

Allegro MicroSystems, Inc. Nasdaq "ALGM", a world leader in magnetic sensor and power integrated circuits for e-mobility, autonomy, and green energy, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. We offer a flexible work environment, and this position would be based in our MetroWest Massachusetts office with the ability to work from home at times. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the consolidation process for certain foreign subsidiaries. The successful candidate will be able to collect the pertinent information for the creation of journal entries, account reconciliations and other related intercompany matters.

The role reports to the Financial Reporting Manager, Allegro Microsystems, based in Marlborough, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the intercompany and consolidation of multiple foreign subsidiaries.
• Oversee with team of 3rd party accountants in each location.
• Review analyses and explanations of all consolidated transactions.
• Analyze all intercompany transactions for the entities.
• Preparation and analysis of detailed reconciliations of all assigned balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare assigned documentation for external auditors.
• Participate in quarterly and annual budget process as needed.
• Assist with general accounting projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Advanced degrees such as an MBA or MS in Accounting are desired.
• CPA or CMA desired
• 5+ year experience in public accounting or accounting in a publicly held company.
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP preferred.
• Experience with intercompany transactions and/or foreign currency transactions preferred.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.
