We are currently searching for a Deep Learning NLP Engineer for our Sr. Staff AI Scientist role to report to our Chief Scientist.

Role Attributes:

• Drives the creation, optimization and deployment of transformer/generative based NLP and multi-modalmodels for production at a large scale
• Work closely with other teams in R&D, Platform Engineering, and Product to establishrequirements and priorities 
• Has a circle of influence beyond the immediate team, reaching out to product and engineering
• Owns the development, training, testing, and improvement of large-scale models with particular attention on the increasing the quality and safety of the output while reducing hallucinations
• Influences the team, and beyond, by establish best practices in machine learning methods
• Actively contributes to the architecture/design of data collection and processing pipelines

Requirements:

• Strong background and experience in ML NLP, especially transformer-based MLand Large Language Models
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following NLP fields: Information Retrieval, Machine Comprehension, Question Answering/Conversational AI, Reinforcement Learning, Knowledge Graph and Causal Inference 
• Extensive knowledge of Deep Learning and related tools such as TensorFlow, Keras, MXNET, or H2O 
• Experience deploying NLP solutions in a commercial environment 
• Hands-on with latest Generative AI developments in the past year with exposure to finetuning, prompting strategies and optimization of models for inferencing 
• Experience in Big Data, search and chatbot technologies 
• Strong background and experience in software engineering, scaling large models, training and real time inference. 
• Comfortable with coding in different languages and cloud environments 
• Proven experience in working with other organizations, and in different geographies, besides R&D 
• Master or PhD in NLP orcomputer science 
• 8+ years of industrial R&D experience after graduation
