Databricks is helping companies unlock the potential of their data. In this role you'll develop programs to ensure that customers using partner system integrators receive top-quality implementation assistance and current advice on best practices. You’ll leverage our global team of Customer Success Engineers who guide our customers to accelerate their adoption of the Databricks platform. 

This role, reporting to the Global Practice Director for Customer Success Engineering, provides strategic leadership to implement programs that system integration partners use, while they help Databricks customers through adoption, expansion, and renewal. You will collaborate internally across teams including training, partner teams, and sales. You will stay updated with partner program developments, design new procedures and playbooks, and train Customer Success Engineers (CSEs) to ensure that CSEs can efficiently guide partners on shared accounts. 

The impact you will have:

  • Promote technical success of SI-led projects within our customers.
  • Develop and expand the capabilities of SI associates engaged in our customers, using Databricks enablement and other resources.
  • Deepen the relationship between Databricks and our partner SIs.
  • Incorporate current implementation best practices, and design procedures and playbooks for CSEs to use with customers who have engaged SIs.
  • Provide coaching and training for CSEs to manage complex partner involvement within their accounts.
  • Collaborate across teams to incorporate Databricks partner resources into CSE playbooks and reference materials.
  • Identify repeatable programs and value added engagements that can be performed consistently to help scale how the team operates.

What we look for:

  • 7+ years experience working in the big data and Analytics/ML domain
  • 5+ years experience management experience in Customer Success, technical consulting, or technical customer education
  • A strong track record of cross-functional program development
  • Experience working with large system integrators. Experience working within a large consulting firm is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as the business requires
