Sr. Strategic Deal Pricing Manager

Mission: Drive optimal deal pricing realization through hands-on pricing thought leadership for our largest and most strategic deals, rigorous approval management for escalated deals, and cross-functional deal desk enablement / guidance

The impact you will have:

• Improved outcomes on 50+ largest and most strategic deals through hands-on pricing thought leadership with negotiation strategies, give / gets, and creative deal structuring where appropriate
• Provided rigorous oversight to deal approvals for our most deeply discounted deals through strict approval criteria and coaching to reps on how to improve commercial outcomes
• Industrialized an executive pricing briefing for deals escalating to CRO/CFO/CEO level that provides insightful guidance for their deal assessment and executive negotiations
• Work cross-functionally with the deal desk and help them succeed as an effective pricing advisor for the majority of deals through the right deal pricing enablement, guidance and tooling (e.g. deal scoring guidance)

What we look for:

• Advanced expertise in B2B Enterprise deal pricing in the technology, software or XaaS companies
• Expertise in counseling Sales on complex negotiations across discounting and other commercial levers
• Experience holding the line on approvals for discount requests and achieving higher price realization without reducing deal win rates
• Excellent skills in communicating actionable deal assessments and negotiation strategies to CXO audiences
• Advanced expertise in enabling a cross-functional partner (e.g. deal desk) on a new capability through training, hands-on guidance, tools and new processes
