Sr. Structural Technician

What You’ll Do

• Drilling, reaming, filling, removing and installing fasteners, shimming, accurately measuring, and documenting data. 
• Carrying and lifting up to 10-35 pounds
• Exposed to hazardous materials
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Utilizing various pneumatic and power tools
• Installing various parts and assemblies such as brackets, fittings, angles, clamps
• Inspecting your own work quality and checking for FOD ( foreign object debris) 

What You Need

• Ability to adhere to high standards of Safety and Compliance to regulatory requirements
• Minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft structure, manufacturing, and fabrication
• High school diploma or GED 
• Ability to use high impact vibratory tools
• Experience with aircraft assembly processes and procedures
• Experience using software applications such as emailing, internet navigation, model base definition understanding, microsoft suite and other specialized software
• Ability to work a variable schedule (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts)
• Ability to look up/read/comprehend technical work instructions, drawings, and/or specifications

Bonus Qualifications

• Knowledge of FAA aircraft certification requirements for Part 23 aircraft
• Composite repair, installation and maintenance
• New product development experience

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
