Job Description
Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What You’ll Do
- Drilling, reaming, filling, removing and installing fasteners, shimming, accurately measuring, and documenting data.
- Carrying and lifting up to 10-35 pounds
- Exposed to hazardous materials
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Utilizing various pneumatic and power tools
- Installing various parts and assemblies such as brackets, fittings, angles, clamps
- Inspecting your own work quality and checking for FOD ( foreign object debris)
What You Need
- Ability to adhere to high standards of Safety and Compliance to regulatory requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft structure, manufacturing, and fabrication
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to use high impact vibratory tools
- Experience with aircraft assembly processes and procedures
- Experience using software applications such as emailing, internet navigation, model base definition understanding, microsoft suite and other specialized software
- Ability to work a variable schedule (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts)
- Ability to look up/read/comprehend technical work instructions, drawings, and/or specifications
Bonus Qualifications
- Knowledge of FAA aircraft certification requirements for Part 23 aircraft
- Composite repair, installation and maintenance
- New product development experience

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $40-50 an hour. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
