Sr. Supply Chain and SAP Functional Manager
Job Description
Position Overview:
Solid Power is seeking a Senior Manager to join our talented team working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next generation, all solid‐state rechargeable batteries. Responsibilities for the position are centered around Sales Operations and Planning. The Sr. Supply Chain Manager will lead the supply chain and operations SAP implementation team. This role will also serve as the SME for supply chain within the Solid Power organization. The roll requires a high level of organization, and the ability to manage multiple overlapping projects.
Job Duties:
- Lead the functional design of SAP processes for the Operations team.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the operations team, including procedures and process development.
- Lead and ensure success of fully integrated SI&OP program.
- Advise demand, supply, and production planners of industry best practices.
- Facilitate weekly leadership updates on SAP implementation.
- Works with management to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
- Develops and implements continuous improvement practices and LEAN/TPM/World Class Supply Chain management methodologies across our production planning, scheduling processes and raw materials.
- Identify deviations from established plans and develop recovery plans.
- Key liaison for cross functional communication and systems integration.
- Develop, monitor, and communicate reports on inventory and process execution to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement.
- Develop inventory replenishment procedures, cycle count, and reconciliation programs.
- Partner with IT for technical development and deployment of functional design.
- Collaborate with finance and account for material and BOM costing.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- MBA or MSc degree in relevant field preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience is required.
- SAP experience required.
- APICS Certification Preferred.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to operate independently within assigned commodity groups.
Salary Range: $101,000 - $162,000/annually
