Sr. SW Engineer - EDI

CorVel Corporation is hiring a Software Engineer to develop software solutions to support the movement of data to and from multiple business systems.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience developing technical projects in a Microsoft environment and a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle.

All candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with the project owners and project requestors and users to refine requirements
• Apply sound software engineering processes, including iterative development, unit testing, source code control and peer reviews
• Learn our business model and understand existing enterprise applications

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Overall 5+ years developing software using the following:
  • T-SQL (including complex queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers)
  • C#
  • NET MVC
  • Git (or other Source Control Provider)
• Good spoken and written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
• Azure Apps preferred
• AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap preferred
• Experience with Dependency Injection and IoC Containers preferred
• Experience with ORMs (Dapper, Entity Framework) preferred

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

Pay Range: $49,359 - $155,322
