Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator Linux L3-Sr.to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Installs, configures, and maintains Linux operating systems
• Analyzes and resolves problems associated with the operating system's servers, hardware, applications, and software
• Detects, diagnoses, and reports Linux related problems on servers
• Possess familiarity with varied concepts, standard best business practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Perform a variety of tasks without supervision and limited guidance. Typically reports to a senior level manager
• Function as a Senior Linux Systems administrator responsible for the security and management of Linux servers in development, test and production environments
• Plan, develop, test, and deploy application software, system software and security updates. Solve complex integration and technical problems in a dynamic fast-paced environment
• Work with other Systems administrators, network engineers, database administrator and application developers to resolve issues

Advanced administration tasks on RHEL servers including, but not limited to:
• Writing and running Ansible scripts
• RHEL Patching
• Docker/Podman
• Storage management using LVM and XFS
• Server builds • Red Hat Satellite
• Red Hat Single Sign On
• Sonatype Nexus
• OpenShift Container Platform

Basic Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline with 7 or more years related professional experience. (Education can be substituted for 11 years of experience)
• Knowledgeable and experienced with RHEL 7/8 Servers installation, configuration, and management
• Knowledge and experience with installation, configuration, and management of RHEL docker/podman instances
• Ability to review logs, access issues and problems and take appropriate corrective action
• Ability to maintain documentation reflecting the current operational environment
• Possess excellent communication and written skills
• Requires 24x7 on call support on a rotating basis
• This position supports an IT operations environment. All employees should expect to support work on nights and weekends and will be included in an on-call rotation for after-hours support

Security Clearance Requirements:
• Active DOD Secret clearance and ability to obtain agency suitability clearance
