Job Summary:

Supermicro System Manufacturing Team is looking for a talented Sr. System Engineer to support the operation in the system production to conduct various system testing in the production. The ideal candidate must have solid knowledge in server architecture and ability to communicate effectively with both internal staff and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Development and integration of server/workstation system products, lead internal team to improve production yield rate• Execute system validation test report and test procedure• Proactively engages in learning and researching on new technologies products• Train and knowledge transfer fundamentals to testing technicians• Manage a small team of testing technicians• Analyze variations in mass production projects• Maintain PXE environments to deploy/meet mission critical requirements.

Qualifications:• BS / MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science preferred• 8+ years of Electrical / Computer Engineering or relevant experience preferred• Strong knowledge of computer architecture• Familiar with Linux, Windows, and networking setup• Programming experience with windows and Linux shell scripting• Strong sense of team work and good team player, strong communication skills• Familiar with various OS, tools• Experience with Network / Hardware test is a plus• Knowledge and experience of server performance benchmarks and tuning is a plus

Salary Range

$104,000 - $160,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
