Why this role matters:

This role will support a larger critical initiative for the organization and will play a key part in ensuring best practices relating to how access controls are introduced and followed to ensure world class security and compliance for Vonage applications.

Where you will work:

Flex Worker - You will have home based days, but can be required to commute to the office for collaboration, customer meetings and presentations up to 3 days a week (exact days to be agreed with your line manager). The address of the office you will be commuting to is 23 Main Street, Holmdel, NJ 07733.

What you will do:

• Participate as a core member of critical security and compliance projects requiring partnership with members across Security, IT, Engineering, and Compliance teams.
• Help guarantee strong compliance discipline through driving repeatability in all aspects of  business operations through  process improvements and automation
• Analyze the access controls for all sensitive Vonage applications, systems and endpoints, including user roles and attributes, user access lifecycle including initial onboarding, changes and termination, integrations between systems, audit log generation and capture for reporting and alerting by downstream teams.
• Comprehensively catalog and evaluate different use cases and associated system processes to identify potential gaps in access controls. Work with individual system administrators and relevant stakeholders to develop requirements, design details, prioritization  and project plans to remediate the gaps, and track the plans to completion.
• Maintain detailed documentation for each system and associated access use cases, controls and roadmap for improvements.
• Assist with administration and troubleshooting of  systems. Track production incidents to ensure that access controls are not impacted, and work with relevant teams to remediate those if so.
• Ensure that relevant evidence for the access controls is collected regularly and archived.
• Work with the Compliance team and auditors to provide evidence for access controls.
• Provide thought leadership to ensure that access controls meet compliance needs when new technologies, applications and systems are introduced in the company. Coordinate with IT and engineering teams as needed.

What you will bring:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years experience in information technology.
• 5+ years experience as a system administrator and/or analyst managing multiple systems.
• Experience with evaluation and introduction of new technologies and/or major technology migrations/upgrades.
• Extensive experience with IDPs like Okta.
• Experience with Active Directory.

Desirable

• Related certifications like Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator and/ or Certified Identity and Access Manager and/or Okta Certified Administrator.
• Excellent understanding of identity management and access control. 
• Experience with LDAP and RADIUS.
• Experience with regulations like SOX, SOC2 and related evidence collection.
• Ability to listen, communicate, evaluate, problem solve in a multi tasking team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
