Sr. Systems Administrator

VDT is seeking a System Administrator - Senior

Description: SAs provide technical oversight as well as hands-on support of HW/SW systems. Duties

may include, but are not limited to, implementing and maintaining system security and data recovery

processes, providing technical support, utilizing automation tools for delivering applications, managing

assets, monitoring performance, event notifications and automating workstation support. In addition to the

technical knowledge and skills, a SA must exhibit excellent communication skills. Often working in a team

environment with clients and other IT personnel, a SA must coordinate and communicate activities, status

updates, outage notifications and schedule information. The Senior SA will serve as the Deputy SM when

the SM experiences a planned absence from the worksite.

Qualifications: Minimum six to nine years' experience as hands-on support of HW/SW systems with an

Associate Degree in a computer related field or equivalent technical certification.

Requirements:

Active SECRET Clearance - Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) are highly preferred

CompTIA Security+ CE
