Sr. Systems Analyst

Job Description

DUTIES: Provide support for our Oracle Big Machines CPQ environment, including functional and data analysis and operational tasks.

Serve as functional/business analyst on the enterprise application including ERP's - Eone, SAP, PLM, Data Warehouse, Big Machines CPQ platform, and SFDC.com platform.

Work with business users to understand and document their business processes and requirements.

Understand the current implementation and architecture of LSG's Oracle Big Machines CPQ, including platform configuration and processes integrated with salesforce.com.

Perform mapping/gapping based on the requirements and Oracle Big Machines platform features, keeping in mind the existing implementation of CPQ.

Configure working prototypes in a development sandbox if required, and validate and refine prototypes.

Document the functional design and solution approaches implemented during the sprints and project life cycle.

Highlight the benefits of recommended approaches and any business process improvements from the suggested solutions.

Conduct meetings with business users and IT personnel and publish status and progress reports. During projects, clearly communicate project task status to key partners.

Work with IT personnel to highlight any changes needed in the current implementation to achieve business requirements and/or performance improvements.

Assist with release planning and execution.

Identify and resolve issues in the CPQ environment and in related integrations.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of overall business/functional analysis experience or related experience. Employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of overall business/functional analysis experience or related experience as an equivalent alternative.

Must have experience or knowledge of:

Experience working on the Oracle Big Machines CPQ platform;

Experience working on solutions and integration across enterprise applications, such as ERP-Eone, SAP, PLM, Data Warehouse, SFDC.com, or CPQ Website;

Sales processes, including opportunities, CPQ quoting, BM commerce, model configurations, pricing discounting, promotions, approval matrix, and sales orders;

Big Machines data model, data architecture, data management, and with integrations with other systems such as salesforce.com; and

The capabilities and constraints of the Big Machines platform.

Travel: Willing to travel up to 25% domestic and international. Telecommuting Employee: Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute.
