Sr. Systems Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Systems Engineer to join our global corporate technology team. The role requires deep subject matter expertise with Microsoft Windows Server (2022, 2019, 2016), Active Directory, Exchange, cloud environments (AWS and Azure), VMware, Citrix, Cisco UCS (hyperconverged technology). The candidate will be responsible for designing, building, organizing, modifying, documenting, and supporting the Corporate Enterprise Infrastructure and will ensure stability, integrity, and efficiency through automation.

Compensation range:125K-140K* range; *Actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, licensure, certifications, experience and other related factors.

Other compensation: Performance bonus eligible.

What you will be doing:

• Architect, deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Servers (2022, 2019, 2016) in virtual (cloud and on-prem), physical environments.
• Lead in improving corporate information technology architecture by engineering solutions that meet the business requirements
• Configure and maintain Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) infrastructure.
• Provide long term engineering solutions and automation that help reduce manual tasks for the help desk and Corporate Technology tasks.
• Suggest and oversee improvement processes.
• Stay up to date with latest technology and best practices.

What you skills/experience you need to have:

• 10+ years' experience working as a Systems Administrator/Engineer; deploying, configuring and managing Windows Server infrastructure (Domain controllers, forest/schema management, ADDS, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, DFS, file and print services, OU membership, share drive access, GPOs implementation/management).
• 4+ years' experience doing architecture and design for Windows Server , cloud operational experience with automation, deployment, and orchestration, strong knowledge of AWS services, Microsoft Azure and terraform for AWS.
• Administering or assisting in the administration of SANS and Fiber back bones infrastructures, Windows server administration including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and security.
• Installing, configuring, and managing multi-platform virtualization technologies such as VMWare, as well as installing/configuring O/S level clustering solutions.
• Experience with SCCM/WSUS patch management, strong PowerShell experience is a must along with automating tasks using PowerShell or python scripts.
